Part of her “1 + 1” project, it juxtaposes dresses straight from the walkway with grand vistas of nature. And while the designers’ inspiration is largely unknown, the resemblance is uncanny. A sort of macro level camouflage meant for giants if you will.
Liliya Hudyakova works with photo-composition. “1 + 1” is the over-arching theme of her works, comparing people to stuff ranging from space to flowers. Her “Fashion And [Word]” series is probably the biggest, doing such interesting comparisons like Beyonce’s dress and king Ludwig’s bedroom in Linderhoff Castle, Bavaria.
